For Immediate Release – Ovation Travel Group, one of the largest independently owned travel management companies headquartered in the U.S., announced that some of its leading travel advisors have accepted invitations to represent the company at the eighth edition of the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) North America. The invitation-only event will draw several hundred travel advisors from across North America to the Fairmont Mayakoba – just outside of Playa del Carmen, Mexico – this September 23-26.

“Our clients have come to expect that Ovation’s travel advisors will not only remain on the cutting-edge of knowledge about the latest products, openings, advancements and innovations in the global luxury travel marketplace, but also anticipate their evolving needs by remaining several steps ahead. This makes it imperative for Ovation to be represented at such illustrious industry showcases as ILTM North America,” explained Paul Metselaar, CEO and Chairman of Ovation Travel Group. “Participation in ILTM North America is crucial because it further expands and informs Ovation’s overall intelligence within luxury travel. It also heightens our advisors’ level of engagement by strengthening their existing connections with some of the world’s foremost luxury travel providers while forging new relationships that ultimately benefit our clients.”

ILTM North America is an invitation-only event, where the newest generation of top producing agents and advisors from the USA, Canada and Mexico meet the world’s very best luxury travel experiences. According to ILTM, North America is expected to be “one of the world’s fastest growing luxury travel source markets … until at least 2025.”

Ovation advisor Denese Senno (Stamford, CT) will be making a return visit to ILTM North America. “When I was invited to attend ILTM North America, I jumped at the chance. I thought the event was very well-organized and run. Now, as an advisor working remotely, I realize how important it is to invest the time to attend this type of event – it’s always worth it,” Senno said, adding, “Having personal connections to suppliers are invaluable, because – as I tell my clients – ‘You can’t VIP yourself.’”

First time attendee Harlee Rosenberg, an Ovation advisor based in New York, explained why he accepted ILTM’s invitation, “My reason for attending is to have the experience of ILTM. I want to meet new contacts and learn about some of the new and exciting products out there for my clients. It is also a good time to catch up with longstanding contacts and receive updates from them.”

Another Ovation advisor attending for the first time is Lauren Shook with The Stein Collective, who said, “With ILTM, I am excited about the opportunity to further develop impactful relationships with suppliers, hotels and other advisors. This exclusive, invite-only conference is a great way to meet the world’s best in luxury travel and learn from and grow with your peers through great educational offerings. How wonderful to be face-to-face with the best in the industry and really make meaningful connections that extend far beyond the mutual interest in travel.”

Also making her debut this year is Ovation’s Director of Leisure Supplier Relations Beverly Waldman, who added, “I’m looking forward to getting reacquainted with properties that I have known and worked with in the past to be updated on what is new and exciting for them, as well as share all that we are doing within Ovation to sell luxury travel. One of my goals while I’m there is to serve as my Ovation colleagues’ eyes and ears; to that end, I’m thrilled to have appointments with quite a number of new and interesting hoteliers and other suppliers to meet them and develop relationships so I can take what I learn back to share with my colleagues.”
