FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 30, 2018 – Ovation Travel Group, one of the largest independently owned travel management companies in the U.S., announced the appointment of a new Director of Sales for its Meetings & Events Division: Michelle Marie Adams. Michelle Marie will be responsible for developing and managing new Meetings & Events business and will be based in Ovation’s New York headquarters. She will report directly to Robert Sanders, General Manager, who leads Ovation’s Meetings & Events division.

Michelle Marie is an established business development executive with almost ten years of sales experience and seven years’ experience in the meetings, events and incentive travel industry. Prior to joining Ovation, as Vice President of Sales at EDPglobal DMCs, she led direct sales for international Destination Management Companies (DMCs) partners to senior and mid-level meeting and incentive planners, representing the global sales office.

Michelle Marie is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Meeting Professional’s International Greater New York Chapter (MPIGNY). She is a graduate of California State University.
